Forest Therapy Walk
Sunday, May 19, 2024 10:00 AM - 12:30 PM
This is a mindful slow
walk, At times not walking at all.
The practice of Forest
Therapy is grounded in the belief that the earth has wisdom to share with
humans when we slow down long enough to pay attention.
Not everyone experiences
the same thing. Many people talk about feeling more connected, more
peaceful, or describe the wonder of seeing something they had never
noticed before.
June, a Certified ANFT
Forest Therapy Guide, will offer you invitations to be in touch your
senses (sight, smell, sound, touch, imagination, etc), to slow down and
connect with nature around you as well as yourself.
The walk ends with
snacks and a tea ceremony with tea foraged from the local area.
Pre-registration
is required. Register at: foresttherapywalk@gmail.com
This is for
adults 14 years & up. No dogs allowed. You will receive an email the day
before on where to park & meet.
