The New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation has announced that a public information meeting regarding a proposal to upgrade and expand the outdoor amphitheater and support facilities at the Earl W. Brydges Artpark in Lewiston has been scheduled. The meeting will be held in the Village of Lewiston Red Brick School Building gym on Thursday, October 23 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.. The Red Brick School is located at 145 N 4th St. in the village.
State Parks' and Artpark staff will be on hand to make brief presentations about the proposed project and to answer questions and receive public comments. The current proposal for the project may include a new or expanded stage, seating/viewing areas, parking and access roads, concession facilities, rest rooms and ancillary support facilities.
All persons interested in Artpark are urged to attend; those who cannot may submit written comments by November 9, 2008 to:
