The Allentown Association, one of Buffalo?s oldest neighborhood preservation organizations, was honored for its outstanding leadership in expanding the boundaries of the Allentown National Register Historic District. The enlarged district, which now corresponds to the boundaries of the local Allentown historic district, contains more than 1,300 historic commercial and residential properties.
