The authority was honored for its exceptional contribution to restoring City Pier A, the oldest surviving pier in New York City. Thanks to the authority's leadership and the oversight of its project team, including H3 Hardy Collaborative Architecture, the 1880s landmark has been rehabilitated and made ready for contemporary use.
