This award recognized George Traikos for his outstanding contribution to revitalizing the former Rochester Free Academy for contemporary commercial and residential use. The multi-million dollar project combined private and public funding, including the federal historic rehabilitation tax credits. The project promises to stimulate further local redevelopment efforts.
