With support from the City of New York, the New York Landmarks Conservancy, a state historic preservation grant awarded under the Environmental Protection Fund, and contributions from several individuals and organizations, the congregation undertook the synagogue's comprehensive restoration, infusing new life into the local landmark and surrounding community.
