Join us to explore the world of beach glass at Lake Erie State Park.  Take a leisurely stroll along the shoreline in search of these unique treasures, followed by a hands-on jewelry-making activity.   Feel free to bring your own beach glass if you have some and let your creativity shine as we craft beautiful keepsakes together.  Meet at the Recreation Hall.

It was supposed to be a ‘quick' hike on a wooded path; but losing track of time, darkness, and weather it becomes a fight for survival.  Do you know what to do; what to take to win this fight?  In this program we will learn techniques our ancestors used to survive, along with a few modern ones, and figure out what to look for and where to look. This family-friendly craft program teaches how to make survival paracord bracelets. Participants will learn the basics of knotting and how these bracelets can be used in emergency situations. It's a fun, hands-on activity that promotes creativity and practical survival skills for all ages. Meet at the Recreation Hall.

They're creepy.  They're crawly.  They are the villains in every scary movie.  Welcome to the fascinating and misunderstood world of spiders and bats where we will uncover the true nature of two of earth's most reviled and ecologically important creatures.  Learn what they are, what they do, and why we should not fear and hate them but respect them. This educational program offers an engaging exploration of black bears, focusing on their behavior, habitat, and role in the ecosystem. Participants will learn about their diet, physical characteristics, and how they interact with their environment. Through interactive activities and informative discussions, the program aims to deepen understanding and appreciation for these fascinating creatures.
