Face coverings are required at all events as is 6 feet social distancing. Please dress according to weather conditions. Please bring water. We will gather at the main Kiosk. We will leave ON TIME. Parking lot is right below Phelps Hospital, off 117. Across the street from the parking lot is the path that leads up to the park. Leashed-dogs welcome. Every Tuesday, 9am – 11:30am, the Stewardship Team gathers to work on a wide range of activities including, habitat restoration, animal rescue, checking/setting trail cams, as well as trail maintenance and clean up! There is always something different to work on whether removing invasive plant species to make room for natives to grow, maintaining existing native habitat, assisting in lantings, or clearing debris from trails. Whatever the case may be, it is always better (and much more fun) to work in a group! Everyone welcome to join and be a part of this vital team. Please join us every Tuesday from 9:00am to 11:30am.

Please be sure to wear suitable clothing (long pants are a must) for working outdoors. At times, we will be going off trail and into tall grass. Come join Flora Steward, Devyani Mishra, on a walk around the Swan Lake area as she teaches participants about trees and other plants in the area and providing tips on how to identify. Every month we give hikers an opportunity to experience the Preserve after dark in our "Full Moon Hike" series. Please join us for this very popular and special event.

This is a night hike, after the park has officially closed. Late-comers will not be allowed to enter the park after the group has departed.
