Gallery hours are 9:00 AM – 4:30 PM daily. Gallery Reception is on Sun. Jan. 28th from 1 to 3 PM and is free and open to the public.

The enduring craft of American Rug Hooking originated in 1850 and is resurging in popularity. The exhibit features artists from the Hudson River Rug Hookers and includes rugs inspired by the Preserve and Hudson River landscape.  Artists: Marilyn Bottjer, Mary Alenstein, Helen Buerger, Amy Stoner Cotter, Qing Dollinger, Sally Doran, Anita Eddy, Joyce Kapadia, Heidi Lawrence, Mary Parker, Charlotte Rodziewicz, Robin Schwamb, Phyllis Shapiro, Diane Skalak, Michele Vozick, Ruth Weyland, Roya Zarrehparvar. Curators: Audrey Leeds and Marilyn Bottjer. Free and open to the public.

Led by Anne Swaim, Director of Saw Mill River Audubon. Meet at the Sleepy Hollow entrance of the Preserve. Over 200 species of birds have been recorded at the Preserve. More than 60 species nest here. The Preserve is designated by Audubon New York as an Important Bird Area.
