Olana’s 2019 exhibition will showcase multimedia design concepts and installations, developed by leading architects and select artists. As Guest Curator, Barry Bergdoll (of Columbia University and the Museum of Modern Art) invited a group of today’s most exploratory architects to respond to the transitional outdoor rooms at Olana that are so essential to the original 19th century design of Olana’s Main House. Daily tennis tournament in the following divisions: Men’s and Women’s Singles; Men’s and Women’s Doubles; Mixed Doubles. Trophies are given to the 1st place winner and runner up in each division. Begins May 1 to June 30 or until the 384-maximum participant number is reached.

Roberto Clemente State Park will be holding its annual Learn-to-Swim program during July and August with 7 youth sessions and 1 adult session. Please call the park at (718) 299-8750 for more information and to register.

All sessions are Monday - Friday:

Session 1: July 1st - 12th 9am to 9:45am.

Session 2: July 1st - 12th 6:15pm to 7pm.

Session 3: July 15th - 26th 9am to 9:45am.

Session 4: July 15th - 26th 6:15pm to 7pm.

Session 5: July 29th - Aug 9th 9am to 9:45am.

Session 6: July 29th - Aug 9th 6:15pm to 7pm.

Session 7: Aug 12th - Aug 23rd 9am to 9:45am.

Session 8 (Parents Class): Aug 12th - Aug 23rd 6:15pm to 7pm.

Guided Gorge Tour

Join a guide for a one-mile tour of the Gorge Trail. The tour will cover how the Finger Lakes and the gorge at Watkins Glen were formed, the rich history of the park and natural history topics. At Mile Point bridge the tour will be over, and you will be able to continue to the top of the gorge on your own or return to the main entrance by using the Rim Trails. Tours will begin at the main entrance on Franklins St, near the entrance tunnel to the gorge trail. No reservations are necessary.
