Valiant Ambition: George Washington, Benedict Arnold, and the Fate of the American Revolution... Philbrick gives a challenging and sympathetic interpretation of the relationship between George Washington and Benedict Arnold, who was a hero, brilliant general, and close Washington confidant before he became a traitor. Valiant Ambition has won the George Washington Book Prize. 7:00pm lecture (registration starting at 6:30pm), followed by a book-signing. Reservations are recommended. $25; $20 members
