Established within the Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation, the New York State Council of Parks consists of the Commissioner of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation; the Commissioner of Environmental Conservation; the Chair of the State Board of Historic Preservation; and the chairs of the eleven regional park commissions.
Council Chair Lucy Waletzky will preside over the meeting.
