Silver Lake State Park provides a boat launch facility for boating and fishing on the lake. The area also has picnic facilities and a comfort station which is open year round.  The upland section of the park is available for hunting in season by permit.

Hours of Operation

  • Park is open daily from 6am to 11pm for day use.
  • Boat Launch: Open Year Round, Docks available 4/21 - 10/15
  • Comfort Station: Open year round.
  • Hunting for Big and Small game is permitted in season by permit.

Project 1: Lawn and landscape cleanup, adding playground mulch to swing set, staining landscape railings, shrub and hedge pruning. Appropriate for 13 and up. Please bring garden gloves, water, snack, lawn and garden rakes, tree shears, shovels, tarps
