Bethpage State Park is best known for its five world-class golf courses, including the world-renowned Black Course which was the site of the U.S. Open Championship in 2002 and 2009 and the Barclays in 2012 and 2016. Future site of the PGA Championship in 2019, the Northern Trust in 2021 and 2027, and the Ryder Cup in 2024. Visitors also flock to the park to use the park's picnic facilities, playing fields, tennis courts, bridle paths, hiking and biking trails and cross-county skiing trails.
Bethpage State Park houses a restaurant and catering facilities, a Golf Pro Shop and driving range.

Project 1: Litter picking of picnic area. All ages welcome. Please bring garden gloves
Project 2: Mulching of children's trail. Volunteers will help to spread piles of mulch on the trail. All ages welcome. Please bring garden gloves
Project 3: General Park Clean Up. This involves raking of leaves, twigs and other debris located in our picnic area. All ages welcome. Please bring garden gloves
