Burnham Point State Park is small and quiet with lightly-wooded campsites, ideal for boating, fishing and relaxing. Boaters can explore local towns, islands and historic sites for miles up and down the scenic river. Popular game fish include bass, pike, muskellunge and walleye.
In addition to tent and trailer campsites, the park has boat docks, a playground and picnic areas.
Must have proof of current rabies vaccination - certificate inoculation or dated collar tag. Household pets only, caged or on a leash, not more than 6 feet. Not permitted in picnic areas. For campers, if your site allows pets, there is a two-pet maximum.
Most New York State Parks charge a vehicle use fee to enter the facility. Fees vary by location and season. A list of entry fees and other park use fees is available below. For fees not listed or to verify information, please contact the park directly.
The Empire Pass -- whether a card for $80 or a vehicle-affixed decal for $65 -- is your key to all-season enjoyment with unlimited day-use entry at most facilities operated by State Parks and the State Dept. of Environmental Conservation including forests, beaches, trails and more. Apply online or contact your favorite park for more information. Learn more about our Admission Programs including the Empire Pass.
