This terra cotta frieze was made around 1920 by Alice Delafield Clarkson Livingston (1872?1964). It is currently mounted over the fireplace in the study at Clermont State Historic Site. Alice?s artwork often portrays women and children wearing neoclassical-style clothing and family pets. Alice?s daughters Janet and Honoria are pictured on this frieze with their nurse Ollie and their dogs Peggy and Gobi.
