Erastus Dow Palmer, Imogen, 1874. This bronze bust by Church's close friend, Albany sculptor Erastus Dow Palmer, and cast by F. Farb�dienne Foundry in Paris, depicts Imogen, the protagonist in William Shakespeare's comedy Cymbeline. The bas-relief in the base of the bust depicts a scene from the play in which Imogen is disguised as boy. Church created a special wall bracket on which to display this piece in the Court Hall.
