UPDATE: SUNDAY, AUGUST 9TH: 

Several Long Island State Parks and Historic Sites are closed today due to weather damage: Cold Spring Harbor, Trailview, Caleb Smith, Valley Stream, Walt Whitman Historic Site, and Wildwood.

Palisades Region Parks: The following state parks are CLOSED until further notice: Bear Mountain, Fort Montgomery Historic Site, High Tor, and Lake Tiorati.

Taconic Region Parks: Taconic - Rudd Pond Campground is closed until further notice due to recent storm damage.

PARK CAPACITY ALERT: The following parks have filled to capacity and are CLOSED to incoming visitors and traffic. Please seek alternatives:
