Alert: State Park Facilities on Lake Ontario and in the Thousand Islands:  

High water is impacting State Park facilities on Lake Ontario and the St. Lawrence Seaway. All parks are open, but access to boat launches and other facilities near the water may be restricted. The New York State Parks, Recreation and Historic site system is divided into eleven regions. State land in the Adirondacks (6a) and the Catskills (6b) is overseen by the Department of Environmental Conservation.
