Located near the swimming pool complex in Fort Niagara
State Park, and just down the road from the Old Fort Niagara State Historic
Site, the Fort Niagara Nature Center is housed in what was the fire hall for
Fort Niagara.
The center is open seasonally, offering outdoor and
nature-based education programming and weekly themes. Exhibits within the
nature center cover topics from local wildlife, to fish, plants, and invasive
species. Stop by during normal business hours to talk with a park naturalist,
participate in fun activities, and to learn more about our natural
surroundings!
