The Fort Niagara Nature Center is located adjacent to the state park's swimming pool complex, and just down the road from the Old Fort Niagara State Historic Site.

The nature center is open seasonally, and outdoor educational programs are available upon request. "A Walker's Guide to the Natural History of Fort Niagara State Park" is available for self guided tours. 









In addition the nature center offers exhibits with information on local flora and fauna, Great Lakes ecology, the ice age, Native Americans, geology of the region, and the park's military history. 


 

No pets permitted inside the nature center.

Hours of Operation

    • Open seasonally - July 4th through Labor Day
    • Thursday-Sunday, 12:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M.
    • Outdoor education programs are available upon request
    • Fees may apply

Fees & Rates

  • Program Fee
    • No fee applies for entrance into the Nature Center
    • No fee applies for public programs unless otherwise included in program description
    • Group Programs:
    1.  5-35 participants = $30.00
    2. 36-65 participants = $60.00
    3. 66-100 participants = $105.00

    *Each additional person over 100 is $1.00 each
