The Creekside Classroom is a four-season environmental education center located in the heart of Saratoga Spa State Park. The Classroom sits on the bank of Geyser Creek and provides a central location to explore the park's unique resources, including naturally spouting mineral springs, twelve miles of forested trails, playgrounds and a large picnic area. Park staff offer environmental education programs year-round, including school field trips, hikes, tours and snowshoe walks.

The Classroom features an outdoor fire pit, indoor woodstove, bird feeder viewing area and interpretive signage, as well as a projector and screen for presentations. It is available for use by schools, clubs and non-profits. Take an easy, 45 minute hike through several wildlife habitats in the park. We will look for signs of local animals and learn about their winter adaptations. All ages are welcome. Hikes start at the Creekside Classroom.

Join a tour guide at the Creekside Classroom to learn about the mineral springs in the park. Cups will be provided for tasting the springs. Tours meet at Creekside Classroom every Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 11a.m. unless otherwise specified.
