Schools, youth organizations, and special interest groups can make arrangements for educational programs and hikes at Sunken Meadow State Park by calling (631) 269-4334 x235 or by emailing Emily.Ulceus@parks.ny.gov.
School programs can be adapted to your curriculum and subjects vary from Beach and Marsh Studies, to Creature Creations (adaptations) and Geology. These are just a few of the many exciting educational programs for schools we offer.
The youth group programs assist with earning scout badges in forestry, nature, hiking, and many more.
Come visit our Nature Center at Sunken Meadow and discover the unique plants and animals of the Long Island Sound and it's surrounding forest and marsh habitats.
Many programs can be made accessible to the Physically Challenged.
