Simple chair yoga and meditation practices can help us release stress, relax, feel healthier and calmer, sleep better, and ultimately can help shift our perspective, enabling us to feel more in charge of our lives, and have a more compassionate, inclusive and empowered view of the world. Class takes place inside the Gothic Chamber. $10 per class, no reservations needed.

Each Wednesday in the summer, stop by the Manor and learn what it was like to be a kid in the 1700's! Come take a selfie as you try on many of our reproduction clothing! Test your luck at many of the popular games from 1700's, and learn about their origins and how they have transformed over the years, including some that are still played today! Admission is free but children must be accompanied by a caregiver.

Stop by the Manor for the ending of our annual Movie under the Stars movie series with Cars 3! Like any athlete in their prime, Lightning McQueen must learn to accept he is getting older and needs to adjust to the changing times. Will he be able to compete in this new era or will he be left in the dust? All Movies under the Stars place on the west lawn of the Manor and is free of charge! Patrons are encouraged to bring their own refreshments and a blanket to lie on.

Join the staff of Philipse Manor Hall on this walking tour of downtown Yonkers as we commemorate The Hudson Valley Ramble! Philipse Manor Hall and downtown Yonkers have both shaped and been shaped by the Saw Mill, or Nepperhan, River. Following the river from its mouth at the Hudson to Chicken Island, patrons will learn about the growth of Yonkers from 1682 to the present, and discuss how these changes are connected to larger trends in New York and the United States. $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and students. Free for Friends members and for children 12 and under.

Join Philipse Manor Hall as it participates in the Annual Yonkers Riverfest! Participate in a variety of family-friendly and historic activities with crafts, reenactors, a special appearance by Sarah Lawrence College CAPE program, and the continuation of the Manor's new exhibit, Yonkers: A City of New Beginnings! Admission is free for all outdoor activities. Museum admission is $3 per person, free for kids 12 and younger, and covers admission to the new exhibit.

The fall series of Saturday Family Movie starts up with a hoppin' good time when we show the latest rendition of Peter Rabbit! Come watch one of our favorite furry mischief makers and his friends to see what new tales are happening in Mr. McGregor's Garden! All Saturday Family Movies are rated PG and free to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring a blanket and refreshments. Each movie will take place at 3pm inside the Gothic Chamber of Philipse Manor Hall State Historic Site.
