John Jay Homestead State Historic Site
Friends of John Jay Homestead invite you to their annual On the Farm Dinner on Saturday, June 1. Guests will enjoy seasonal cocktails and farm fresh hors d'oevres before sitting down to dinner under the stars at one of Bedford's oldest farms. Purdy's Farmer and the Fish will cater the evening; dinner will be served family style with live music. Rain date of June 2nd. This weekly outdoor, certified market provides the finest New York-grown, fresh and seasonal fruits and vegetables, seafood, breads, specialty items and more on a historic farm setting. Every Saturday, from May through October, customers can expect to find certified organic and biodynamic produce, ethically-raised, organic meat and eggs, as well as a wide variety of artisan food items with dozens of weekly vendors.Farm Market is open from 9:30am to 2:00pm for the general public, while members of Friends of John Jay Homestead are offered the Members Only First Pick from 9:00am to 9:30am.
