to drop spindles and spinning wheels, Barbara will explain how these spun fibers turned into sheets of cloth for clothing. Basket Weaving: Join Sharon Morrison to learn how to weave a basket – an everyday item used
during the American Revolution. Take your basket home too! No reservations required - this event has ongoing
demonstrations and the opportunity to try your hand at these lost arts.

The 2nd New
York Regiment recreates the unit as they appeared in 1775. Camp life and day-to-day
military activities will be on display, and the public can engage with the 2nd
New York while they provide demonstrations. Learn about the lives of the soldiers during
the early years of the war, including the unit's involvement in Canada in 1775.

lecture by a site interpreter tells the story of one of the officers General Anthony
Wayne relied on during the Battle of Stony Point. He entrusted Pennsylvanian Colonel
Richard Butler to lead the northern column during the assault. Learn more about one of the men who bravely
