New to camping? Whether you're gearing up for your first trip or experienced in the Great Outdoors, this hands-on program will teach you the essentials for a safe and enjoyable camping experience! Meet at the main kiosk and then we will walk to the lower field next to the nature center for the program. This event is free and open to the public!

Join us at Clark Reservation's Nature Center for a lighthearted and informative guide to nature photography! We'll walk you through basic photography techniques as we capture the beauty of the natural world. You are encouraged to bring a water bottle, any equipment you may have, and a positive attitude. This program will mostly be outdoors. Equipment will be available for you to borrow as well! Restrooms may not be open yet due to the cold spring weather, but there is a port-o-john available. This program is free and open to the public.

Want to visit an enchanted fairyland forest? With moss blanketing the forest floor, rocks and even trees you feel you are in another world when you hike at Clark Reservation State Park. Visit Clark Reservation to learn more about mosses from students at the SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry. This is a family friendly event. Stop by the welcome table then search for the other stations along the easy trails in the park. There are port-o-johns in the parking lot, the running water may not be on yet. This event is free and open to the public!
