Free Fishing weekend

Mine Kill State Park
Fish for free in the lower reservoir all weekend. New York
residents and non-residents are permitted to fish for free without a fishing
license. Free fishing day participants are reminded that although
the requirement for a fishing license is waived during free fishing days, all
other fishing regulations remain in effect.

Join Park staff and patrons from throughout upstate New York
for a day of free fun in the sun at Mine Kill State Park! The Park is
hosting its 12th annual Summer Festival on Saturday, July 22, 2023
from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Mine Kill pool complex. Summer Fest 2023 will kick-off at 11am. Through the day
there will be dozens of activities for the entire family. Kids will enjoy
fun times in the pool, arts and crafts, face painting, carnival games, hay
rides and Karaoke. Enjoy a BBQ, sandwiches, salad or other refreshments
from Cargie's Poolside Grill, and visit with our educational and retail
vendors.

annual cruise-in car show. All makes and models welcomed, cars trucks and
motorcycles. No admission or registration fee, just cruise on in.
