Mine Kill State Park
Bring the whole family to enjoy a winter stroll
for a good cause! In addition to a candlelit loop, there will be warm
beverages, a winter craft, and holiday tunes. Free admission but a donation of
canned food items for statewide food drive encouraged! Meet at our Midlevel/overlook
pavilion and picnic area. For more information call the park office at

The hike will follow a moderate difficulty wooded dirt trail with some periods of steep elevation change. The trail will lead to a creek with waterfalls. At the waterfalls, we will rest a minute at some rock seats before continuing. Hikers should prepare for cold and icy conditions with layers and footwear with good tread. Additionally, hikers should bring plenty of water and a snack. Meet-up Location: Mine Kill Park Office, Age Minimum: 8, Approximate distance of hike: 3 miles, Leashed pets welcome.
