Enjoy the first full moon of spring, the "Pink
Moon" with environmental educator Hannah on a short hike looking for
stars, owls, and other nocturnal animals. Please wear appropriate clothing and
sturdy shoes. Trails are typically muddy in the spring. Weather dependent, registration required.

Join us for a beautiful spring hike
where we look for the first blooms of the season, enjoy rushing waterfalls, and
other signs of spring. Learn a little about flower identification and spring
ephemerals along the way.
This hike will be
approximately 2 miles with periodic stops and is considered moderate. Trails
are typically muddy in spring, please wear appropriate footwear. Meet at the
Falls Overlook parking area. In
the event of
downpours/bad weather, we will
postpone or cancel. Email minekillsp@parks.ny.gov or

Join us at the Mine Kill Pool Complex for a free family
fun-filled festival! Check out handmade artisans, vendors, and food trucks.
Enjoy carnival games, hayrides, face painting, dunk tank, pool games, and more!
Accessibility information: changing rooms, showers, and
restrooms are ADA compliant. Handicap Parking is available. The pool deck is
concrete with no step changes. Vendors will be along sidewalks. A pool lift is available to assist access to

Join us if you dare! Take a haunted hike and try your
chances with what goes bump in the night. Free admission! Family friendly
hour from 5pm-6pm, after 6pm our haunted hike is not suitable for children
under 8. The trail will begin at our midlevel pavilion picnic area.
Accessibility information: The trail is approximately 1 mile
but has some rough trail bottom and sections of steep terrain. The paved loop
above the pavilion will be decorated as well. Bathrooms are ADA compliant, and
our pavilion is connected to the paved path with no obstacles. Please call with

Bring the whole family to enjoy a winter stroll for a good
cause! In addition to a candlelit loop, there will be warm beverages, a winter
craft, and holiday tunes. Free admission but a donation of canned food items
for our statewide food drive strongly encouraged! Event will be held at our
mid-level pavilion picnic area
Accessibility information: The lit trail will be
approximately 0.4 miles and is entirely paved with small inclines. There are
benches along the path. Portable bathrooms will be ADA Handicap accessible. Our
pavilion is connected to the paved path with no obstacles. Please call with any
