Who will bring their best "grain game" to the beach this year? Register at 12pm by the Lifeguard Station at Long Pond Beach. Must provide your own tools and props. Judging at 2pm, awards at 3pm. Free to enter, prizes for all!

Join local hiker Stevie Rodriguez and her sweet Doberman Bulla for a 2 miles hike in the park. Meets at the north end of the beach parking lot. All dogs must be on 6 ft leash. Free after gate fee.

National Get Outdoors Day: Introduction to Geocaching

When tech meets treasure hunting in the outdoors, you have geocaching! Using a hand-held GPS or smartphone app, you can find treasures in your local state park and throughout the Capital Region! Both Grafton Lakes and Cherry Plain State Parks are part of the Saratoga-Capital Region Geocache Challenge, with 52 geocaches in neighboring state parks and historic sites. Meets at Welcome Center. Program is included with $8 parking fee. Registration at 518-279-1155.
