Weirs to Beers: Ossining & The Aqueduct
Saturday, December 4, 2021 01:00 PM
Old Croton Aqueduct State Historic Park
(914) 693-5259

Expect Sing Sing village tales, close Hudson River views from the prison hilltop and later from a nature preserve, a stroll down Sing Sing Kill gorge, a hidden museum and last, a neat microbrewery... all near or right on the Aqueduct Trail.

If you've seen BlackkKlansman, you know this turf! It was filmed below the double arch bridge. This outing is for people who walk fairly regularly. Some hills, 3.5 miles, up to 3 hours (excluding brews). Wear hiking boots, bring water and a hat for windy hills! There may be no bathrooms except at brewery. Meet at corner of Correctional Facility Road and State Street near downtown Ossining. Park free along nearby streets like Spring Street near Nelson Park, which is near our endpoint, the brewery. From MTA Hudson Line Ossining train station, it is a .8-mile walk to the meeting point. Walk may be rescheduled if weather does not cooperate. Tour leader is Lesley, please TEXT ONLY to number provided on registration. REQUIRED: pre-registration; masks; limited numbers. Register Now: https://aqueduct.org/events
