We're taking the show on the road! Join Johnson Hall staff at the Great New York State Fair on Sunday, 08/24, Tuesday 08/26, and Friday 08/29. Handle recreations of historical objects relating to the colonial fur trade and to the lives of the people enslaved at Johnson Hall in the 18th century as you learn more about the many people and stories at this unique historic site. Find us at the State Park at the Fair! Programs on display: - "Stroud and Silver, Beaver and Bear", exploring the connections between the Fur Trade and Diplomacy in the18th Century Mohawk Valley. - "One Bowl More", highlighting objects related to the labor, agency, and social lives of those enslaved here at Johnson Hall.
