Fall into History – Guided Historical Hike!

Looking to experience Fall while learning a little bit of history? Join us for a guided hike of the 1-mile Battle Loop Trail on Monday, October 13th at 10am.This 1.5 hour hike over moderate terrain will bring history and
nature together as we discuss the Battle of Bennington and the landscape that
led to this significant moment in the 1777 Saratoga Campaign. We will also
explore some of the farming history that shaped this landscape after the battle
and learn about the Fall foliage and scenery around us as we hike.
Meet us on the hilltop at Bennington Battlefield State Historic
Site to enjoy the peak of autumn and a chance to connect the past with the
natural world around us. This event is FREE & family-friendly! Dogs are
allowed on trails, but please keep them leashed.
