Forest Bathing at Minnewaska

Join Jane Dobson with Mind the Forest guides, any Thursday in May, to experience Forest Bathing. Over the next four consecutive Thursdays in the late afternoon, join Jane as she guides your transition from computers and day-to-day business into present moment awareness, where we directly experience the world through our senses. A growing body of scientific evidence shows that Forest Bathing promotes physical and mental health and reduces stress and anxiety, while improving mood, focus and sleep. Beyond the science, this program is about community, as nature connects us to our intrinsic selves and to others. Each week this introduction to Forest Bathing will focus on a unique aspect of Forest Bathing at a different location in the Park Preserve. This program is open to participants aged 16 and older, with minors accompanied by a parent or guardian over the age of 18. Meet at the Lower Parking Area. Pre-registration is required for each program by calling Minnewaska at 845-255-0752.
