Holiday Tuesday Trek: Scenic Mossy Glen Footpath Loop Hike at Minnewaska

Join Laura Conner, Environmental Educator, for a peaceful outing in the midst of the busy, holiday season. The Mossy Glen Footpath section of this approximately three-mile hike follows along the Peter's Kill stream, through mixed forests and across exposed, quartz conglomerate rock. This section may include challenging conditions for some, such as slippery rocks and exposed tree roots. The other half of our walk will follow the easy-to-walk Lower Awosting Carriage Road. Meet in the Lower Parking Area. Pre-registration is required by calling the Lake Minnewaska Visitor Center at 845-255-0752.
