Winter Break Microgreens

Tiny but mighty, microgreens are full of flavor and nutrition powerhouses. Every seed comes with all it needs to germinate and grow a sprout. Harness the power of a seed by growing your own amazing microgreens. Each kit comes with a recycled greenhouse and ingredients to make your own dressing to enjoy with the microgreens. Join us Thursday, February 20th to make your own "Microgreenhouse" using one of our activity kits! Check out some pre-grown "Microgreenhouses," to get a preview of what you'll grow, and taste the greens with the public! Can't make it on Thursday the 20th? No problem! We will have free activity kits ready for pick up in our Visitor Center during regular hours. Stop by the Visitor Center Thursday February 13th- Sunday February 16th or Thursday February 20th- Sunday February 23rd between 10:30 am and 4 pm. The kits will have everything you need to start your own Microgreenhouse at home. Please note: This is program is for ages 8+. All children must be accompanied by an adult. This event is free of charge. Reservations are not required but appreciated.
