Warbler Walk – Rare Species

Tuesday, June 8, 2021 07:00 AM

Parade Grounds Parking Lot. Will caravan. (3 hours, 1 mile or more)

With 25 species, Letchworth State Park may have more nesting species of wood warblers than anywhere else in the world! Each week, actual nesting sites will be visited, and we will search for a third of the park's nesting warbler species, as we study the factors that yield such diversity. Binoculars are recommended.

Pre-registration is required for each program by contacting the Humphrey Nature Center, 585-493-3682. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, all programs will follow social distancing and face covering guidelines. Face coverings are always required in all enclosed structures.
