Maple Day at Sam’s Point

Bring your family and join the Minnewaska Educators to see what maple sugaring is all about. We'll demonstrate the sugaring process, including showing everyone the proper tools to use, how to identify the trees to tap, how to tap your trees and taste testing final products. Our fun taste test features a comparison of real syrup versus artificial syrup too! We will also be reading legends on how maple sugaring began. Meet at the Sam's Point Visitor Center. This is a drop-in program. Pre-registration is NOT required.
