Join Staatsburgh's curator, Dr. Maria Reynolds, for a one-hour zoom presentation that examines why Staatsburgh resembles a French palace and what this type of décor reveals about the Mills family and their place in society. This talk will explore what Ruth Mills is trying to communicate to her guests with the use of French design and decoration. Special attention will begiven to objects and furniture in the collection that are not usually highlighted or visible during a house tour. Cost: free.
