10th Annual Putman "Porch" Music - We welcome musicians and listeners to our Visitor Center for this canawler experience! Join in on this Americana, Folk, and Roots Music style jam session happening each Thursday in June. Come play some fiddle, guitar, banjo, sing, or whatever instrument you may bring, to this lively time along the historic Erie Canal! We'll be outside the Visitor Center as the ol'Canal Store gets a rehab in 2025! Restoration work is scheduled on the Putman Canal Store at Yankee Hill Lock from April to August of this year. Schoharie Crossing is moving the fun to outside our Visitor Center/Museum space. No Porch, but still a great time!
