National Trails Day Celebration

Join us to celebrate having access to beautiful local trails! There will be options for all ages and abilities. Come for the program, a hike, or both! 9-10am: Hiking 101 Would you love to start hiking but don't know how to start? Are you intimidated by trying to decide where to go, what to bring, or what to expect? Join us to discuss the basics of trail choice, packing, and outdoor safety, and increase your hiking confidence before the beautiful summer season! This program is aimed at beginners and is geared towards adults, but families with children are welcome. We can entertain your kiddos while you learn! 10am: Guided Hikes Option 1 – Shorter and at slower pace: a good choice for families or those looking to explore the trails at a more relaxed speed Option 2 – Longer and at faster pace: a good choice for adults or families with tweens/teens who are looking to cover some distance (3-4 miles)
