New York State Bureau of Historic
Sites Lead Interpreter of African American History, Lavada Nahon, will discuss
the history of Pinkster in the Hudson Valley and its evolution as a celebration
of African diasporic culture, followed by a Q & A session. This is the first
in a series of free Get to Know Pinkster programs in May, in partnership
with Howe Library at 105 Schuyler Street in Albany.
