11:30 am to 12 pm: Pinkster Parade Storytime (young children) Local author Shakeema Funchess will read her book- Parading with Pride: Rediscovering the Pinkster Festival- for growing readers, followed by a coloring activity. 12 to 1 pm: Paper Beading Workshop (all ages) In celebration of African diasporic culture, Schuyler Mansion staff will lead a paper beading workshop, appropriate for all ages and families. All materials provided by the museum for this take-home craft.
