Join us for this FREE, family-friendly festival. Pinkster is the Dutch word for Pentecost. Pinkster is an Afro-Dutch celebration that started in the colony of New Netherland (now New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut). It is considered by many to be the first truly African-American holiday. Today, as in the past, we celebrate with music, dance, games, food, and drink. Schedule, directions, and more at
