Living History Saturdays: Keep it Fresh! Historic Food Preservation

Join us for a hands-on presentation from Living Historian Tom Hunt about what it was like to prepare for winter in the 18th and 19th centuries. From pickling to drying to salting and smoking, Tom will discuss and demonstrate many of the techniques used in early American food preservation.
