I Love NY - Path Through History Day

This annual event brings people together for fun, healthful activities to broaden access to state public lands. The historic site partners with the Hay Memorial Library for a StoryWalk on site. Begin your Story Walk loop at the end of West Main Street reading pages from the featured book. Receive a "take-and-make" gift, while the supply lasts. It's "Flag Day!" Bet the story and "take-away" might include learning about the US flag. Adding to this StoryWalk experience are many interpretive panels on the History Trail that tell the story of the 29 May 1813 Second Battle of Sackets Harbor.
