In 2027 New York will recognize two significant Black history anniversaries: the 200thanniversary of the end of legal slavery and the 400th anniversary of the arrival of the first enslaved Africans. Join Lavada Nahon, Interpreter of African American History, for a special presentation and discussion on Slavery in New York. Location: Robert Fredrick Smith Center for Performing Arts.
