OPRHP's regulations are published in Title 9 of the New York Codes, Rules and Regulations (NYCRR).
OPRHP's regulations cover statewide and regional rules for parks, historic sites, and parkways; historic preservation programs; grants; marine vessels and snowmobiles; and the agency's implementation of the Freedom of Information Law.
Proposed Regulations
OPRHP submits proposed regulations to the Department of State for official publication in the State Register and for formal written public comments. You may submit formal public comments by email to rule.making@parks.ny.gov. When commenting, the subject line of your email should contain the Part Number.
