Pet Policy

A maximum of two pets are allowed in day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).

Located off State Rt.104 B on County Rt 40, Mexico Point offers a large concrete boat launch into the Little Salmon River with close access to Lake Ontario. The site offers restrooms.  There are no fires but picnicking is allowed.

Please note that there is limited parking at this location.

Hours of Operation

  • Boat Launching:   24 hours a day from April 1 to November 1, 
  • Self pay at automatic pay station when attendant is not on duty.
  • Walk-in Fishing: Free year round

Fees & Rates

No hunting is allowed at this facility, but a person may possess an unloaded weapon for the purpose of accessing adjacent properties for lawful hunting purposes.
