Please be advised that a burn ban is currently in effect as of Friday, 11/1. Open flames of any kind, including ground fires and campfires, are prohibited. Please note that this ban does not include barbecue grills in designated picnic areas (Anthony Wayne, Silvermine, Tiorati and Kanawauke.)
The Silver Mine area of Harriman State Park offers picnic grounds, fishing and hiking. Biking - helmets required.
Fishing - NYS fishing license required.
Launch Sites - Boat permit required.
Dogs only, must be on a leash not more than 6 feet at all times. Not allowed in buildings or beach/bathing areas. Must display rabies tag. Not permitted in the following areas of Harriman State Park: Beaver Pond Campground, Welch Beach, Sebago Cabins.
