Cumberland Bay State Park, on the west shore of Lake Champlain, is very popular with campers and day-users because of its large natural sand beach and picnic grounds with tables and grills. The park has a playground and playing fields. Cross-country runners frequent the park in the fall.

Pet Policy: A maximum of two pets are allowed in campsites and day use areas unless prohibited by sign or directive. Pets are to be supervised at all times and either be crated or on a leash not more than 6-feet in length. Proof of rabies inoculation shall be produced if requested by staff. Pets are not permitted in playgrounds, buildings, golf courses, boardwalks, pools and spray-grounds or guarded beaches (this does not apply to service animals).

  • Park open from early May to Columbus Day. 
  • 2021 Swimming Season: 6/26 - 9/6, 11 am - 7 pm.
  • Shelter Rentals (2): 5/7 - 10/11, by permit.
  • 2021 Camping/Cabin Reservations: 5/7 - 10/10
    *Only Electric and T-Section open after 9/5

Fees & Rates
