As part of regular maintenance, trails at Artpark are closed for scaling through the end of October. However, the lower trail at Artpark is partially open. This open section includes ¾ of the lower trail and 3 designated fishing access locations along the trail.

The Niagara Gorge is Being restored!
As we work to replace stairs, remove invasive species and create new trails there may be times with the trails have to be closed.
We encourage you to check the attached maps or call 716-284-4691 before heading out.

Devil's Hole State Park overlooks the Devil's Hole Rapids. The park has picnic areas, scenic overlooks and hiking trails, and is one of the more popular spots for fishing. A stone staircase leads down to the base of the gorge and the Devil's Hole Trail, which offers spectacular views of the rapids and gorge rock layers.
